This will actually have good information for addresses and stuff. As I mentioned in an earlier post, you can put the address in quotes on newspapers.com which can help you find news articles regarding a specific person. Works well. I am waiting for the 1970 census records; only 20 years to go.

Click on the link and then you can select the state and city (you don't have to select the city since not every city is listed) and a name. Depending on who you want to look up, it's often best to select the state and type a surname. The hit enter. Scan the results for a name that resembles what you're looking for and click on the population schedule. The population schedule is the census. The OCR does a horrible job of scanning the names, so they're often spelled wrong. It's a lot of hit and miss.
