Wiseguy's right from wherever he is handicapping this and if TJ responded here I think he'd agree. All the places are gone. There's still a book with maybe 4 factions in Boston and I have no idea in RI. I think that's it. Half the list of 50 is washed up and long gone and it way, way closer to 20-possibly, possibly 30 active made guys in the whole family.

I personally don’t see the point in debating theoreticals why can’t it be focused on this bust and the other one from the cocaine boxer

Where does the Ponytail Parrillo fit in? He’s in prison, correct? Hard to trust any of these New England sources…

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/1121985 ... ton-globe/ it seems that he was hanging around with Rocco Argenti and other influential mobsters such as Nicholas Bianco.
Lato & Argenti were the pair who killed Kevin Hanrahan in 1992, per Bobby DeLuca, so it would seem as though they were something of a duo in Providence. They even appear together in this old picture.

Oh, it would definitely seem so. He's suspected of at least four murders (one of them proven), attempting to murder Frank Salemme and Luigi Manocchio, an attempted kidnapping, and I'm sure many other felonies. The family hired him when they needed someone killed, so he certainly must have built up that reputation for himself, and he was also a notorious drug trafficker.

He was sentenced to 15 yrs for assault — 5 to serve in prison — two years ago (https://www.wpri.com/target-12/inside-t ... l-beating/).

He was closely associated with Manocchio, but Scott Burnstein's claims of him being consigliere and a possible future boss seem completely made up. Every other newspaper aside from Gangster Report lists him as an associate. When he gets out, he'll be 74 and will still have 10 years of parole in front of him, so I'd say his career is basically over.

Where are these 4 Boston factions/crews based and whos running them?

Anyone know how many crews the family had historically and where they were all based? I've skimmed through old threads on New England but can't find much on the crew breakdowns. If anyone can point me to a good thread on this I would appreciate.

I remember reading somewhere that Federal Hill had 3 crews alone at one time but don't know if this is correct.

Would it be East Boston, North end, Revere and Medford?

Well, yeah, it just goes to show, this guy had a hand in everything. For a "low-level" associate, he really had so much prestige in that underworld.

I have a hard time believing that Boston has 4 factions/crews. Billy Angelesco was one of the most active members in Medford/Revere and he's away doing his time.

As long as it's always handled in that way, let the fresh street talk roll. 8-)
