Lt. Gen. Hal Moore dies

Post by dixiemafia » Sun Feb 12, 2017 2:24 pm

General Moore died Friday in Auburn Alabama after suffering from another stroke. I had the pleasure of chatting with him before about 7 years ago and he was a class act fellow. True American and he chose Alabama to spend a good bit of his life at especially after he retired. R.I.P. :(

The Lt. Colonel who commanded the 1/7th Cav in the Ia Drang Valley in 1965. Played by Mel Gibson in We Were Soldiers Once.
