Pogo, I believe someone else posted those, unless I just messed the date up. Pretty sure it was 1956, not 1959 on the first one.

DeLaurentis was mentioned as being made in 1989, and was not one of those named by Calabrese as being made at the 1988 ceremony.

Great list but I have a few from the pre-1980s I'm wondering about:

- Where does 1949 come from for Caponigro? From what Chucky shared, Scoops Licata said on the Stefanelli wiretaps that Caponigro and Dominick Luciano used to do hits for Anastasia and Costello (am I remembering wrong, or was Caponigro not a suspect in a high profile hit in the 1950s? I keep thinking Moretti but I'm drawing a blank). This is typical mob braggadacio from Licata, but to his credit he did start out as a close associate of Caponigro according to Fresolone. Licata goes on to say that Anastasia put Caponigro and Luciano with the Philly family to protect them. If nothing else, he seems to be indicating that they started out under NY and transferred to Philly where they were made. If that's the case, it seems more likely they were made in the 1950s since Anastasia wasn't a boss until then.

- Angelo Bruno indicates he was made in 1951 though a couple of informants say he wasn't made until a little bit later. I remember posting about Phil Testa being made after his father's death (which was in 1950), but was there anything that said he was made specific year? Bruno, Testa, and Frank Nicoletti were suspected of the Joseph Sadia murder in 1950 and I almost wonder if they officially "made their bones" on this hit since they were all inducted sometime over the next couple of years. A couple informants described Frank Nicoletti as an old or longtime member but they were speaking in generalities and didn't get specific, whereas his FBI file specifically says he was inducted by Joe Ida in 1952.

- I don't think Felix Bocchichio and Charles Vilotti turning membership down had any connection the the 1965 induction. I'm under the impression that they, at least Bocchichio, had turned membership down many years earlier.

- It doesn't seem the 1969 ceremony happened until the 1970s. JD had posted that Snuffy Iannarella was still being identified by informants as an associate into the 1970s, and from info I posted recently we know that Sindone was still being listed as an associate in 1970, but was later ID'd as made by 1975/76. Where does the 1976 come from for the Ciancaglini ceremony? It would be pretty interesting if the Philly family didn't end up making anyone between 1965-1976 and opened the books when the NY families did. I do think they likely made Sindone and possibly the other 1969 guys sometime in the early 1970s, though.

Anyway, thanks for keeping track of this stuff. I am terrible at keeping lists.
