A member of the rival Mullen gang who also wanted control of South Boston. He was shot dead in the back seat of a car and his remains were dug up decades later.

10) Francis "Buddy" Leonard
Died: November 1975

Close friend of Mr. King's. He was shot in the head and Mr. Bulger allegedly spread a story that Mr. King had killed Mr. Leonard and fled.

11) Richard Castucci

An owner of several nightclubs, Mr. Castucci was thought to be an F.B.I. informant. He was shot in the forehead.

The millionaire owner of the World Jai Alai gambling operation in Tulsa, Okla. He suspected Mr. Bulger and his associates of skimming money from him and was shot between the eyes.

The former president of World Jai Alai. Though there was no proof that Mr. Callahan was an F.B.I. informant, he was thought to be weak and there was a fear that he would implicate Mr. Bulger in Mr. Wheeler's death. He was shot twice in the back of his head.

These are only the murders he was found guilty of after his trial. If you do some research the list is much longer.
