Re: Genovese Family induction ceremony August 11th, 2003
Arillotta identified him as a high ranking captain when he first met him in the late 90s. I don't see how he could've been a high ranking capo when he was under Muscarella then when Muscarella went on the panel and served as acting boss, Patty Falcetti stepped in as Muscarella's acting capo. DeLuca...

Re: Genovese Family induction ceremony August 11th, 2003
While being a soldier he did seem to have a lot of clout in the family. He was mistaken for being a high ranking captain at times. I believe both Bologna and Arillotta identified him as such. What makes you say Arillotta was mistaken about DeLuca being a captain? I'd think his proximity to Nigro wh...

where was the building that the ceremony took place in the Bronx and why wasn't Lilo Barney present? Barney was in jail in 03. Pretty sure Nigro was acting boss at that point I believe it was Nigro, Dentico, and Mario Gigante together on the panel. Nigro was given Muscarella's old spot on it.

The Genovese Family by Andy Petepiece (rant)
I bought this recently just for the sake of getting it. Haven’t read it fully, but I’ve skimmed a few chapters and already found some things that irked me for being obviously wrong or lazily researched. Appendix A goes through the family administration over time and starts with the following caution...

Re: Anthony J. Scibelli associate of Genovese crime family’s Springfield faction pleads guilty to extortion charge
I think the only confirmed members from the area are Mario Fiore who'll be turning 100 this year, Frank Pugliano who is also in his late 90s, and Emilio Fusco who isn't due out of prison until 2031. Pugliano's an interesting one. In one of the several interviews Arillotta has done, he said Pugliano...

Re: 2004 FBI affidavit NJ Genovese
While thinking of Cafaro's testimony, I'm reminded of something I read recently in a news report about his testimony in Bobby Manna's trial: Screenshot 2024-04-09 at 16.09.25.png I thought it was interesting that Cafaro would have such a specific date in mind for when Manna became consigliere, so I ...

2004 FBI affidavit NJ Genovese
The document can be found here: https://theblackhand.club/forum/viewtopic.php?t=12488 In July 2004, the FBI filed an affidavit in the District of New Jersey in which it outlined an investigation into the Genovese family. The affidavit was prepared by FBI Special Agent Jason T Brown, who had been ass...

In 2010, Scoops Licata was on tape talking about how he still passed the names of guys he proposed to the Gambino and Genovese families but not to the others.SonnyBlackstein wrote: ↑Fri Apr 05, 2024 12:24 pm Do Philly, DeCavs and NE have to pass round a list? Or the 5 don't give a f outside of NYC

Re: New LCNBios posts
Cooperators still count against the books. I believe Pennisi had a recent video where he talked about his current standing as a Lucchese family cooperator essentially being the same as a shelved member protocol wise (albeit one who'll never be off the shelf). So a slot doesn't free up when somebody ...

Re: New LCNBios posts
What do they mean by “ Assuming Scarpa's report is accurate and Mazzola's killing was the unsanctioned result of a petty dispute, this appears to have enabled the Genovese Family to prove no involvement on their part and allow his replacement.” It's against the rules to use dead members on inductio...

Re: John Pennisi Sighting / Sit Down News
Brief video says Desimone and Alfred Santorelli served on a two-man consigliere panel in 2017. https://youtu.be/IFITutLrBF0?si=npucjIxJzBws7W7G It's an interesting piece of information and reminds me of something else Pennisi has talked about regarding the use of panels. Before the 2017 indictments...
