Re: Heroin using made men
But i honestly see there being three classes of drug users.... Heroin (or downers/opiates) - who get PHYSICALLY addicted meaning they cannot stop even when they want to... huge prob concerning made man id think compared to the other 2 classes... Coke (which is SEPERATE from a crack user who sells t...

Just saw this guy doing an AMA on Reddit - https://www.reddit.com/r/Mafia/comments/gqyxby/my_name_is_frank_dimatteo_i_grew_up_and_spent/ I vaguely heard about the Persico book before but never looked into it. Is anything this guy is saying true? He's claiming is uncle Joe Schepani was in Albert Anas...

Don't know what constitutes "hard time" exactly but Crea served 6-7 years as well i believe. The image we were fed of Crea on these forums was clearly BS but i don't think he'll flip personally.

Re: Is Pittsburgh alive?
The surviving guys were criminals before the family collapsed so they aren't going to stop it's what they kno, they likely run small bookmaking/loansharking operations with longtime customers without the power they once had. There's no organized crime family left though i don't think, i've never bee...

Re: Vito Genovese the worst boss?
Yeah, they were from the Valachi Charts. Except the Magliocco Family got changed to Colombo, think that may have been because Magliocco died/was replaced in the middle of the Valachi Hearings. Not sure though.

Re: Michael Ragusa
I wonder why the article states that Ragusa replaced Red 4 years ago, when he died not even 2 years ago? Back in the 2016 Gangland where it was first mentioned Barney was boss and Dichiara was acting for him, it mentioned DIchiara was sick so it wouldn't be that surprising if he had been replaced t...

Re: Cefalu probe?
Barney was actually first reported boss in February 2016 in Gangland, it mentions him being boss "for the last few years" by that point so i think people assumed it was since 2014 unless it was mentioned elsewhere. Actually reading it it mentions DIchiara giving information to Bellomo sin...

Re: Cefalu probe?
8 years of looking into him, and nothing. Maybe (and I know this is inconceivable for some) he has not been acting boss, or had stayed with legit businesses. How many people could go through 8 years of FBI and police investigations and come out clean? LE believe he's still acting boss. He's probabl...

Is that a massive scar on Ciro's face? You can't see whatever it is on the usual pictures of him unless it happened after those, or it's just a photo artefact or whatever.

Re: Son of mob boss Vincent Gigante enters surprise guilty plea
From the detention memo it would appear that Esposito held the rank of capo of a Jersey crew or maybe even a higher rank. I haven't had the chance to read it, what does it say? Is it just the same "high ranking member" thing? Or does it mention Captain? Sounds like it can't be the latter ...
