TJ was neither run off nor a bullshitter, so he doesn't fit this conversation.

No, it's "Thanks, Wiseguy, for educating my uninformed, illiterate ass."

Know your role, mush.

Wiseguy wrote: Sun May 16, 2021 10:23 am As Pogo said above, the Providence faction never had many members. A peak of 22 members. By 2003 they were down to 12. By 2011 they were down to 8. Now 7 known living members. See a pattern?

The 2011 figure was only for members on the street and residing in Rhode Island. They were

Joseph Ruggiero
Raymond J. "Junior" Patriarca
Rudolph "Rudy" Sciarra
Pasquale Galea
Vito DeLuca
William "Blackjack" Delsanto
Joseph Achille
Robert "Bobby" Deluca

It didn't count the incarcerated members. They were

Mathew Guglielmetti
Edward Lato
Luigi Manocchio
Alfred Scivola
Anthony St. Laurent

Robert DeLuca's brother Joseph was also a member but I don't know if he was in prison in 2011 or even residing in RI.

So a total of 13 or 14 members in 2011. Since then Sciarra, Galea, Scivola, Achille and St. Laurent have died and both DeLucas have flipped.

Pogo
Thanks for the correction.

So over the past decade, the membership has been cut in half. If anything, that gives an even clearer view of things.

LOL. Like I said, come back when you actually have something to say. Don't get butthurt because nobody takes you seriously.
Thanks for the input hick

You keep throwing out these names like "hick" and "hillbilly" as some way to give your opinion (it's all you have) more credibility. Quit pretending where you live somehow affords you more knowledge.

And the only people I may have driven away are some of the bullshitters. Those who aren't about creating some fake online persona and sticking with the facts have nothing to fear from me.

Rhode Island never had a lot of members. At their peak under Ray Sr. RI only had 22 made members. By the early 2000s they were down to a dozen. The bulk of the family was always in Boston.

Pmac2 wrote: Sun May 16, 2021 9:32 am also been listening to penisi talking about how the new boss took guys off the shelf i wonder if ray jr was ever took of the shelf or if he was ever put on it. i think iread somewhere baby shacks put him there but who really knows. im not saying he would ever even want to be back in the fold but the guy knows people from familys all over the usa. just for introductions and what not

I don't recall if he was ever officially put on the shelf but he was forced out by some of the top leaders in the early 1990s. I believe they threatened to kill him if he didn't step down. If I remember right he even broke down and started to cry.
