Thanks for clearing that up. Joe Barone Jr sued the FBI after being acquitted on murder conspiracy charges in 2010 (the judge in the suit ruled in the Fed’s favor of course). I’ve seen conflicting claims that he was affiliated with the Genovese and Bonannos. Would seem to me that he was on record with the latter, but is it known who was he with specifically?

George Barone flipped in 2001 because Gigante had shelved him and he thought they were going to kill him next. He didn’t get clipped though, died of natural causes in 2010.
