Nothing indicates that he was charged in that case or ever convicted on any drug related charges though. Just that his name was cited as involved by one of the defendants. While it’s possible that it’s not the same Rocco D’Ambrosio, there doesn’t seem to be a candidate for another Rocco D’Amnrosio, at least not that I could find. It would also make sense that a guy who was married to a PR woman might have had ties to some PR guys.
Rocco D’Ambrosio was also the kid of William “Rocky” D’Ambrosio, a relative of Joe Amabile who was convicted on murder charges in the early ‘50s and then went out to Scottsdale after his release. William D’Ambrosio’s mother, Grazia Amabile, was the older sister of Joe Amabile. William D’Ambrosio was convicted on fraud in conspiracy charges in 1981 in AZ, related to some real estate interests and a bar that he was involved in there; he died in 1988.

Who is Jerry DeMarco Polack do you know that name or his restaurant? I'm told he's an immigrant from Italy - this has to be him right? I know the Cafe Cappucino (which appears to be his first venture) was a major facet of the Stier Malone Anderson Report years ago as they were surveilling the Grand Avenue location as top guys were meeting with union officials - names like Cozzo, Belli, etc.

Also thanks for the background. I think one of my favorite parts of this forum is finding how modern day Chicago guys always have a familial connection to the Outfit going back a generation or two. The Joe Shine connection is quite interesting. The guys who seem to 'earn' or control large money making enterprises seem to have been groomed early on and stay in the shadows - always the son or nephew of someone - meanwhile, the white gang banger types from Cicero seem to make the headlines for the petty rough stuff.
